Take a look at what people are saying about us

Don’t just take it from us, let our relatives do the talking.

” My Nana has been at this home a few years now, she is very happy and every time we go the staff are very attentive and love the residents which you can clearly see. Nothing is too much trouble. My nana is a celiac and the staff make sure she eats the right foods. A care home is exactly what it is! Thank you to you all for giving us peace of mind.”
Beverley S (Granddaughter of Resident)

“My grandmother receives very good care at the home, she is happy and content. The staff are friendly and approachable and appear to be very caring towards the residents.”

L M (Granddaughter of Resident)

My mother has been a resident in Marion Lauder House for almost six years and during this time our family have seen vast improvements to both the running and the cleanliness and overall atmosphere of the home. My mother is always happy, always clean and tidy and her every need is attended to. The staff are a pleasure to deal with and the home manager is excellent. We made a very good choice with Marion Lauder House.!

My wife is 54 years old and we have been married for 31 years. In 2012 she was diagnosed with semantic dementia and at the end of 2015 was fortunate to be given a placement at Marion Lauder. The management and staff were wonderful and continued to be so as her condition changed to a point where it became increasingly difficult to keep her from harm. In 2017 additional premises were acquired and developed to more appropriately meet my wife’s needs. (A stroke of genius in my opinion) The premises are of an extremely high standard and following my wife’s transfer I have felt so much more confidence that her needs are met as fully as possible that my own health has improved. I cannot thank the management, nurses and all staff enough for what they are doing for my wife..”

Carolyn M (Daughter of Resident)

“My wife and I find the care home excellent in every way. The home is, without doubt, home from home. The staff cannot do too much for the residents, and it is as though it is one family.”

R M (Son-in-law of Resident)

“We first came to Marion Lauder in April 2019 when looking for a new care home due to mum’s increased needs. We were immediately impressed by the number of staff on hand, the friendliness of those staff, their team spirit and their rapport with the clients. We chose Marion Lauder – we were not wrong. Marion Lauder has lived up to all our expectations from those initial visits. Nearly 6 months on and all aspects of the care that mum has received have been exemplary. This is a care home that focusses on care. That may seem an odd thing to say in a care home review, but having had a number of experiences in other homes, it is apparent that care is not always the number one priority. We are extremely grateful to all at Marion Lauder – their dedication has given us much needed peace of mind, knowing that mum is in the best place she could be.”
B A (Son of Resident)

Immediately arriving at the home you feel it is a very well run and ‘looked after’ home. Home is very much the word. Everyone is made welcome and you soon feel you belong to a large family. The staff all treat every resident as they would their own family. Their aim is to care for everybody and to make sure all their needs are met and that they are happy..”

Susan M (Daughter of Resident)

My mother-in-law was first in the assessment unit and has now moved to the Maple Unit permanently. She has settled in very well and has got used to the carers. The staff are all very helpful and very caring. I can relax now she is in 24-hour care as I know she is being looked after with dignity and respect and is safe.!
